On matchday
For cup semi-finals and finals the two clubs' supporters fill the ground between them, and there is no neutral area. The East and West stands are commonly known as the Celtic and Rangers ends. The Hampden Roar belongs to the days of 100,000-plus crowds and has become more muted since the rebuild, but a 2018 study still measured far higher noise than at Premier League grounds.
