On matchday

The noise starts outside: on matchdays Olympic Way, the road everyone calls Wembley Way, fills with fans chanting long before kick-off. Inside, the big open bowl is quieter than a club ground – Thomas Tuchel called it “silent” in 2025 – and a singing section was planned for March 2026.
